A faster processor may be desired depending on the size of your database and the resources consumed by other programs running on your machine. Windows XP / Vista / Server 2003 / Server 2008 / Windows 7 512 MB of RAM (1 GB or higher recommended) Available hard-disk space as follows: Client Components - 30 MB of available hard-disk space Server Components - 250 - 300 MB of available hard-disk space, depending on the size of your database For a stand-alone computer, both the server and client components are installed on the same computer. For networked computers, the server components are installed only on the computer acting as the server (whether dedicated or non-dedicated).
