Chamber Data Systems
licenses CC-Assist 8.0 to an organization for renewable one-year
terms. The initial license fee for the first year of use is based on
the number of users having simultaneous access to CC-Assist 8.0.
The renewal license fee for each subsequent one-year term is 10% of
the initial license fee for simultaneous use at time of renewal. Contact us for
information about the CC-Assist 8.0 licensing fee schedule.

Number of Users
When CC-Assist 8.0
is installed on a local area network (LAN), the license fee is based
on the number of users that can run it simultaneously. Licensing by
the number of simultaneous users allows you to run CC-Assist 8.0 on as many
workstations as you want, but only pay for the level of usage that you
need. To better understand this and determine the level of licensing
that you need, consider the following example.
Suppose that you have five workstations on your LAN. CC-Assist 8.0
can be installed to run on all five workstations. But your organization's
use of CC-Assist 8.0 may vary from workstation to workstation.
Some users may work in it throughout the day, while others may have
only an occasional need to use it. Based on the pattern of usage, you
may decide that you need only a 3-user license. In that
case, any three users can be running CC-Assist 8.0 at the same
time. The license prevents an attempt to run it on a fourth workstation
until a user exits CC-Assist 8.0 at one of the other workstations.
